Closed Beta Test Update

It’s been about 24 hours since our Closed Beta Test has started! Thank you to everyone helping us stress test this build of the game in preparation for our New Foundations Gameplay Event starting late August. Players have already helped us identify a few bugs and disconnects that the team are now actively investigating. This Closed Beta Test has already been helpful in ensuring a more polished future for our game.

Here are some key updates from the feedback we’ve gathered over this testing period and how we are addressing each one:

Mana from Temple Sacrificing

Mana rewarded from the Temple is currently bugged. Items are providing less Mana than intended upon sacrifice, and the multiplier for sacrificing multiple items at once is also lower than intended.

We advise against using the Temple to sacrifice until further notice. Keep in mind that player progress, including materials and equipment earned during this closed beta, will carry over into our New Foundations build. So you will be able to exchange your items for Mana then, when this bug has been resolved.

Font of Memory Rewards

Although Builder’s Crates (time exclusive gift from upcoming New Foundations build) are not present in this build, we’ve seen many players using the Font of Memories.

We have been keeping track of how many attempts everyone is making and have decided we will retroactively reward players who have used the Font of Memories with Builder’s Crates in our next build. In addition to this, those who have purchased Mana during this closed beta will receive an exclusive gift!

We will also be awarding an additional exclusive gift to the top 5% of mana purchasers.

Seal of Tenure Minting

Seals of Tenure earned during this Closed Beta Test are subject to a cooldown before they can be minted. Accounts that have unlinked their wallet are also affected by this cooldown.

• If you have recently earned a Seal of Tenure or unlinked your wallet from your account, you will be able to mint it into a plot of land at 8/1/24 @ 9PM PST.
• If you unlink your wallet from your account or earn a Seal of Tenure after 8/1/24 @ 9PM PST , you will be unable to mint your plot of land until our final push at 8/2/24 @ 8AM PST where we will be pushing our final refresh of the closed build.
• Any Seals of Tenure earned after 8/2/24 @ 8AM PST will only be mintable in our New Foundations Gameplay Event at the end of August.

General Gameplay Issues

You’ve all been such a great help with identifying many issues during this testing period. We are tracking all of these issues, including those that are general disconnect and stability related, and will work on resolving them in preparation for New Foundations.

We’re looking forward to using all of this information to improve the overall gameplay experience going forward. It wouldn’t be a test period without a few bugs to squash, so we’re extremely grateful to all of you for providing your insights.
